Brooks Bandits clinch AJHL South Final spot with 3-1 win

OKOTOKS, AB – The Brooks Bandits are going back to the Alberta Junior Hockey League South Division Final.
The Bandits clinched their 10th straight trip to the south final with a 3-1 win over the Okotoks Oilers on Sunday in Game 6.
Caelan Fitzpatrick, Brendan Poshak and Aiden Fink each scored in the win, building a three-goal lead for Brooks. Ethan Barwick stopped 21 of 22 shots, his shutout bid spoiled midway through the third period.
The Bandits will face either the Blackfalds Bulldogs or the Drumheller Dragons in the next round. The teams are tied 3-3 in their semi-finals series with Game 7 on Tuesday. The south final will open in Brooks on April 7. Tickets will go on sale early this week.
