WATCH: Firefighters camping out for Muscular Dystrophy Canada

MEDICINE HAT, AB – It’s a little early in the year for camping for most people. But then again, most people aren’t members of Medicine Hat Fire and Emergency Services.

Firefighters Dylan Gejdos and Brandon Debler climbed to the roof of Fire Station No. 2 on Trans-Canada Way on Friday to their campsite and temporary home until Sunday. The pair are taking part in the 2023 Rooftop Campout to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

Before settling in for the weekend, Gejdos and Debler spoke with CHAT News about wanting to spend the weekend on the roof, how they’ll pass the time and most importantly how you can support them and their cause.
