MEDICINE HAT, AB – It all comes down to this weekend for the Medicine Hat Tigers, who hold their playoff fate in their hands.

Entering the regular season’s final weekend and two games against the Swift Current Broncos, the Tigers are hanging on to the final playoff spot. They are three points up on, guess who, the Broncos. Two points in the two games any which way they get them will the Tigers into the postseason.

The teams meet in Swift Current tonight and in Medicine Hat on Saturday.

The Tabbies (29-28-8-1) have had a tough season against the Broncos, winning just once and even that game went to a shootout. The Tigers picked up an overtime point in two other games and lost three in regulation.

Leading scorer Oasiz Weisblatt, who has 59 points on the season, has notched six points against the Broncos (30-32-1-3) this season. The Broncos are led on the scoresheet by Mathew Ward, 73 points, and Josh Filmon, 72 points.

Tickets are still available for Saturday’s game at Co-op Place and you can hear all the action of both games live on Wild 94.5 with voice of the Tigers Gino De Paoli. Puck drop is at 7 p.m. each night.
