Boat lake liner install begins at Echo Dale

MEDICINE HAT, AB – To get ready for the summer season, crews will begin work to install a liner on the boat lake at Echo Dale Regional Park on Thursday.

The project is expected to take about eight weeks to complete, says a City of Medicine Hat news release. During the work, the boat lake will be closed and access will not be permitted. The trails, roads, and off-leash areas in the vicinity will still be accessible.

Signage will be placed in the area and park visitors are asked to give crews plenty of room to work.
