Highway 3 closed at Seven Persons after multi vehicle crash

UPDATE: 8:45 a.m.: RCMP say a semi-tractor trailer and an automobile collided on Highway 3 near Seven Persons on Monday night, resulting in the automobile catching fire.

511 Alberta says the road has now been cleared of the collision and Highway 3 at Seven Persons was reopened just before 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

CYPRESS COUNTY, AB — Cypress County and 511 Alberta are reporting a traffic detour on Highway 3 this morning.

A multiple-vehicle crash that was reported at 8:35 Monday, resulted in the closure of Highway 3 near Township Road 112 at Seven Persons.
