Boil water advisory lifted in Bow Island

BOW ISLAND, AB – Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the boil water advisory for Bow Island.
The advisory had been issued on March 3 following a water main break on the main line from the water treatment plant. AHS confirmed on March 11 that satisfactory water quality has been restored in the town, which has resulted in the advisory being lifted.
All residents and businesses in Bow Island can resume normal water consumption practices and boiling water is no longer required. Information about flushing lines after a boil water advisory is available at the provincial government website.
