Trial date set for Walsh gas station operator

MEDICINE HAT — The operator of a service station in Walsh, Alberta will stand trial in June on charges stemming from an incident in August of 2022.

Anwar Kamaran was charged with uttering threats against a person and of failure to comply with a probation order.

He was placed on probation for two years after he was sentenced for assaulting the operator or a rival gas station in Walsh in August of 2020.

The latest accusations against Kamaran will be dealt with at his trial on June 5th this year.
