VIDEO: Dana Wylie sharing personal journey for International Women’s Day

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A one-woman show at the Esplanade tonight will help celebrate International Women’s Day.

Alberta musician Dana Wylie will share her personal journey, using music and monologue to reflect on her heritage, the relationship between motherhood and daughterhood and examine being a woman in the modern world.

Makings of a Voice starts at 7:30 p.m. and this afternoon Wylie spoke with CHAT News to talk about the show, what it means to present it on International Women’s Day and the importance of the day itself.
