‘Thawed Out’: Medalta announces country music festival

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medalta is going country.

The historic clay district site has three days of country and bluegrass music coming up for the first Thawed Out Country Music Festival this month.

“From live performances by Canadian music artists to delicious street food trucks, there’s something for everyone at this festival,” reads Medalta’s website.

The weekend is more than just guitar-pickin’ and boot-scootin’.

There will be a bourbon tasting experience advertised to leave your tastebuds begging for more and a long table dinner in the kiln produced in partnership with Tourism Medicine Hat and seven local restaurants.

As well, Market @ Medalta will showcase local artists and vendors.

Epic Kids & Tots Fun Factory will be there with two bouncy castles, games, face painting and clay projects for the young ones.

A full schedule of events and the musical lineup for the March 24-26 festival will be announced soon.

Tickets will be required for some portions of the weekend, with details still to come from Medalta.
