Medicine Hat Cubs look to take commanding 3-1 series lead

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Taking a two-game lead in a best-of-seven playoff series is something all teams look to do. The Medicine Hat Cubs have that opportunity in their next outing.
The Cubs are currently up 2-1 in the series after earning wins in back-to-back overtime games on Friday and Saturday. All three games in the series have been decided by just one goal.
Through the first three games of the series, rookie centre Kyle Woolridge is leading the Cubs in scoring with six goals and one assist. Patrick Forde leads the Generals in postseason scoring with eight goals and 11 points in five games played.
Games 1 and 2 at Kinplex in Medicine Hat were split between the teams. The Cubs earned the win in the first of two games at Cochrane Arena. They aim to make it three straight with another victory on Wednesday night in Game 4 and a chance to close out the series in Game 5 at home on Friday.
