College welcomes prospective students to open houses
MEDICINE HAT, AB – It’s only halfway through the winter semester but Medicine Hat College is already looking ahead to fall and the prospective students who may become part of the MHC community for the 2023-24 school year.
The college is hosting a pair of open houses next week, on March 3 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Brooks campus and March 4 from 1-3 p.m. at the Medicine Hat campus.
The event will help high school students and mature learners decide which program to take in postsecondary and prepare them to take the next step.
“Whether students are interested in a specific program or they’re still trying to figure it out, open house has proven to be the best opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for what students really want to know,” says Landon Heilman, student recruitment coordinator. “We will have current students from all different programs at the event to answer questions so it’s a really unique opportunity for students considering MHC.”
