Energy company raises money for HALO

Medicine Hat, AB–STEP Energy Services raised nearly $40,000 for HALO Air Ambulance.

STEP executes a company-wide Christmas Spirit campaign annually where each location chooses a local charity to benefit. STEP matches all the financial donations dollar for dollar.

In Medicine Hat, $38, 410 dollars was raised including matching funds from STEP along with external donations from Kal Tire, Fortress Fabrications as well as community donations from the Santa Day event.

STEP says HALO “is a vital component for all those living and working in SE Alberta. The availability of the helicopter improves response times to critically ill or injured victims in remote or inaccessible areas and increases the coverage area for delivering qualitative care.”
