VIDEO: YMCA opens community programming space downtown

MEDICINE HAT, AB – There’s a new tenant in the heart of downtown as of today. The YMCA of Medicine Hat is marking the grand opening of the Y on Second on Monday afternoon.

The new community programming space allows the Y to bring under one roof the different programs, particularly those for youth under one roof.

CHAT News met with YMCA of Medicine Hat CEO Sharon Hayward at the new space before the grand opening. The facility is at 525 Second St. SE.
