Feb 10, 2023 | 11:55 AM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A two-game set this weekend wraps up the regular season series between the Medicine Hat Tigers and Lethbridge Hurricanes.

The teams face-off in Lethbridge tonight and at Medicine Hat’s Co-op Place on Saturday.

A pair of wins this weekend would split the series. The Tigers (21-21-7-1) were victorious 9-1 in the season opener and 4-2 in the most recent meeting between the teams on Feb. 4, but those are the marks in the win column for the Tabbies against the ‘Canes (27-18-3-2) this season.

Oasiz Weisblatt has taken over the team scoring lead with 44 points on the season and is tied for the goal-scoring lead with 20.

Cole Shepard leads the Hurricanes with 42 points. Logan Wormald tops the list with 19 goals.

The Tigers sit fourth in the Central Division and hold down the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Hurricanes are second in the division and fifth in the conference.

Puck drop is at 7 p.m. both nights and if you can’t make it to the game you can hear all the action live on Wild 94.5 with voice of the Tigers Gino De Paoli.
