Manslaughter charge laid in death of Tia Blood, found near Lethbridge in October

COALDALE, AB – Additional charges have been laid in relation to human remains that were found in southern Alberta in October 2022.

Tia Blood, 34, was last seen on Oct. 19, 2022. One week later RCMP said that human remains found near Lethbridge on Oct. 24, 2022, were confirmed to be Blood.

At that time, Hunter Alexander Frank, 20, of Lethbridge, was arrested and charged with offering an indignity to human remains and two counts of theft under $5,000.

RCMP have now charged Frank with manslaughter and trafficking a controlled substance.
