Bowl for Kids’ Sake returning to Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT, AB -After a two-year hiatus, Big Brothers Big Sisters Medicine Hat is thrilled to be bringing back their largest fundraiser.

Bowl for Kids’ Sake will take place on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17 at Panorama Bowling Lanes.

For more than 40 years, “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” has been BBS”s annual, signature fundraising campaign. The organization says after two-years of the pandemic, this year’s event is more important than ever.

“We are thrilled to be back at the bowling alley for what I know will be an incredible night of fun and support for youth in the community,” says Holly Stadnicki, executive director, BBBS Medicine Hat. “We have so many incredible community partners that I look forward to seeing again!”

Big Brothers Big Sisters Medicine Hat provides in-school services that support children and youth. These kids often struggle with societal barriers and face adversities in their lives like detrimental living conditions, family violence, risk factors for mental health, school issues and identity challenges.

BBBS connects over 400 youth with carefully selected Big Brothers or Sisters and nurtures these developmental friendships to ensure youth build social emotional skills, improve mental health and well-being and increase educational and community engagement!

BBBS encourages everyone to grab their co-workers and friends and join in on a fun day of bowling, food, laughter, and prizes.

Event times are the following:

Friday, March 17 – open to companies, individuals and friends who love to bowl and want to support the youth in our community! There will be three time frames to bowl: 6-8 p.m., 8-10 p.m. and 10 p.m. – 12 a.m.
