Tigers fall behind early in loss to Broncos
SWIFT CURRENT, SK – The third time was not the charm for the Medicine Hat Tigers when it comes to the Swift Current Broncos.
The teams met for the third time in 11 days on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 3-1, their third straight loss to the Broncos.
The Tigers fell behind just 91 seconds into the game. Broncos forward Josh Filmon scored his team-leading 25th goal of the season to open the scoring. Before the period was out Braeden Lewis scored to double the Broncos’ lead.
Luke Mistelbacher put Swift Current up by three at the 3:12 mark of the second, chasing Tigers’ starter Beckett Langkow from the net after allowing three goals on just 14 shots.
