Inspired by Nature up now at Police Point Park

MEDICINE HAT, AB – In Medicine Hat and beyond the beauty of nature is always on display and easy to see.

Students from the city’s three high schools used nature as the inspiration for an exhibition on now at the Police Point Park Nature Centre. Inspired By Nature will be on display until the end of the month.

“We really appreciate having the high school students be able to showcase their art down here and we really want to expose people to like the beauty of nature,” says park interpreter Grace Porter. “So we think this is a good way to get people kind of thinking about nature and expressing how they feel about it.”

The centre has been hosting the exhibition when possible for the past number of years. Porter says nature’s colours, diversity and uniqueness are just some of the many ways nature lends itself to art, and this year’s exhibition features many different interpretations of nature.
