Fog advisory issued for Medicine Hat area
Southeastern Albertans woke up to fog this morning, but it should be starting to lift by the noon hour. It may come back later today.
Environment and Climate Change Canada issued a fog advisory for the Medicine Hat-Bow Island Suffield area, saying patches of dense fog with near-zero visibility will continue through the morning.
Conditions may improve this afternoon, though areas of poor visibility will likely linger throughout the day, the weather agency says. Patches of dense fog are expected to return this evening in most areas.
Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.
