City opening campground reservations on Jan. 16

MEDICINE HAT, AB – It’s only January but campground reservations are opening up soon.

In Medicine Hat, reservations for Gas City Campground and Echo Dale Campground will open on Jan. 16 at 7 a.m.

Gas City Campground offers 98 campsites and is located off the Trans-Canada Highway and Seventh Street SW. In 2022, two comfort cabins, each measuring 540 square feet and fully accessible, were added.

Echo Dale Campground offers 10 individual campsites located near a boating lake, fishing lake, and swimming area, says the City of Medicine Hat website. There is also a beach volleyball court, playground, and open space for baseball and soccer nearby.
