Another lane reduction on Spencer Street this month

UPDATE: The City of Medicine Hat says the single-lane traffic configuration on Spencer Street SE is extended to Friday, Feb. 3 due to unforeseen circumstances related to the work adjacent to the roadway.

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A portion of Spencer Street will be temporarily reduced to single-lane traffic this month.

From the intersection at Dunmore Road/Kingsway Avenue to the curve toward Allowance Avenue, eastbound drivers will be diverted to the other side of the road for a short distance. The diversion will affect eastbound and westbound traffic and will last from Jan. 9-18.

During this time, work to abandon gas wells on the property of the former ADM Agri-Industries Company flour mill will take place.
