It’s a Boy!!!

Medicine Hat, AB–The first baby born in 2023 in Medicine Hat is a healthy baby boy.

Dakota Lee and her fiance Bryton Wendland tell CHAT News their little bundle of joy arrived at 1:46 a.m. on January 1st.

Colson Jeffery Wendland weighed 8lbs and 6oz and was 20 inches long.

Alberta Health Services has not officially confirmed the first baby of the new year.

Congratulations to Dakota, Bryton, and family on their new addition!
