Five Brooks Bandits named to Team Canada West for World Junior A Challenge

CORNWALL, ON — Five members of the Brooks Bandits have been named to Team Canada West ahead of the 2022 World Junior A challenge in Cornwall, Ont.

Forwards Caelan Fitzpatrick, Aiden Fink, Hudson Malinoski, and defencemen Aiden Celebrini and Sam Court will represent Team Canada West at the tournament beginning Sunday.

Their first game will be against the United States, with puck drop at 3 p.m.

The World Junior A challenge is a partnership between Hockey Canada, the CJHL, NHL Central Scouting and the host committee in Cornwall.

In addition to the U.S. the tournament features teams from Latvia, Sweden and Team Canada East.
