Crestwood Rec Centre reopening this week

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Crestwood Recreation Centre will reopen on Friday, just days after being closed due to a mechanical failure.

The City of Medicine Hat says that staff discovered a failure in the heat exchanger on the main boiler that heats the pool and closed the facility immediately. Staff were able to make the repairs necessary to reopen the facility as quickly as possible.

The swim club and some scheduled programs were temporarily moved to the Big Marble Go Centre on Wednesday and Thursday.

The city says regular hours will resume at the centre on Friday.
