Two of the reports came from an area northeast of Reno, near Peace River.

The first earthquake, which was reported at around 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 29, measured at a magnitude 5.2 on the richter scale.

A little over an hour later at 5:55 p.m., the same area recorded another tremor at a magnitude of 5.8. It was felt in parts of eastern B.C., across northern Alberta, including as far east as Fort McMurray.

It is the third time in the past week that earthquake activity has been reported in the Reno area.
