More than 120 charges laid following Lethbridge property crimes investigation
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has charged four people in connection to an alleged standoff with police and a variety of other alleged offences.
On Nov. 15, officers initiated an investigation that lead them to a home on the 4500 block of 28 Avenue South. A man was reportedly involved in a standoff that lasted for three hours.
The Critical Incident Response Team was deployed and the 36-year-old suspect eventually surrendered.
Another five people were arrested at the home, but three were released without charges.
