City installing festive lights today

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The City of Medicine Hat has begun putting up its festive lighting for the season.

Installation started Monday downtown and will spread out across the city from there. The schedule is weather dependent and can be seen below.

Each year the city’s municipal works department installs 354 festive lights every year to help Hatters and visitors celebrate the holiday season.

The public is reminded to obey all traffic signs and posted speed limits in the area during installation.
