MEDICINE HAT — Environment Canada has issued heavy snowfall warnings for all of southern Alberta and the western half of southern Saskatchewan.

10 to 25 cm of snow is expected by tonight in what will be the third major snowfall in this region in 5 days.

Motorists are advised to be ready for rapidly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.

The snow is expected to taper off this evening then end after midnight.

Wind chills will be near minus 24 overnight in the Medicine Hat region.

A slight warming trend, with the return of the sun is forecast for Thursday with a high of minus 13.

Remembrance Day should be sunny with a high of minus 10.

Temperatures will return to near freezing by next weekend.
