Grand opening for connectFirst Credit Union’s Medicine Hat branch

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The grand opening was held today for the Medicine Hat branch of connectFirst Credit Union.

Located at Strachan Corner, the company says it shows a commitment to the city.

“With the grand opening of our Medicine Hat branch, we’re laying down our roots because we know that this is a partnership that just makes sense. When other financial institutions are closing branches, we’re making a commitment – we’re in this with you, and we’re in it for the long haul,” says a connectFirst spokesperson.

Last year, connectFirst filmed three award-winning commercials in Medicine Hat to introduce connectFirst to the rest of Alberta. The company invested $75,000 back into the local community, hiring 19 cast members and 36 crew. There were 170 hotel room nights booked as filming took place at 29 sets across 15 locations.
