Altawana pathway closed for winter

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The annual winter closure of the pathway on Altawana Drive NE takes effect on Monday.
The City of Medicine Hat says the path on the south side of the roadway is significantly narrower than a standard sidewalk and can’t be safely maintained using snow and ice control equipment.
Pedestrians are asked to use the sidewalk on the other side of Altawana Drive.
The city will advise residents when the pathway is reopened.
