Exiting B.C. Premier Horgan says he learned to listen, but fuse still burns bright
VICTORIA — John Horgan says some of the greatest lessons he learned while premier of British Columbia came from people considered political adversaries.
He said he found ways to work with people of all political stripes, including former B.C. Green leader Andrew Weaver, former Alberta premier Jason Kenney and Ontario Premier Doug Ford.
But Horgan’s trademark short fuse still burns brightly when it comes to confronting issues of bullying or what he considers “thuggery.”
Protesters who show up at his home or block traffic get his blood boiling.
