Three candidates’ forums for Brooks-Medicine Hat byelection

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A trio of candidates’ forums are planned for the final week of the Brooks-Medicine Hat byelection.

First up is a forum hosted by the Brooks local of the Alberta Teachers’ Association on Nov. 1. It will take place at Griffin Park School in Brooks from 7-9 p.m.

The next night the Brooks and District Chamber of Commerce will host its forum at the Heritage Inn & Convention Centre beginning at 7 p.m. According to the chamber’s website, questions will be pre-populated by the public and must be submitted to manager@brooksdistrictchamber.com by Nov. 1.

Finally, the Medicine Hat & District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a business-focused forum on Nov. 3 at Medicine Hat College’s Eresman Theatre. The forum will be streamed on chatnewstoday.ca and moderated by Dan Reynish.

Chamber members are encouraged to submit business-related questions to policy@medicinehatchamber.com for consideration.

A meet and greet will take place in Centennial Hall at 6 p.m. The forum will start at 7 p.m.
