Toffoli’s overtime goal gives Flames 3-2 win over Hurricanes
CALGARY — Tyler Toffoli scored 4:30 into overtime on Saturday night as the Calgary Flames overcame a two-goal first-period deficit to beat the Carolina Hurricanes 3-2.
Nazem Kadri and Brett Ritchie also scored for Calgary (4-1-0).
Sebastian Aho and Calvin de Haan provided the offence for Carolina (3-1-1).
Jacob Markstrom had 25 stops to improve to 3-0-0. Antti Raanta made 29 saves to take the loss and fall to 1-0-1.
