MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Tabbies have made their way home, and are back practicing on Co-op Place ice.

The Tigers went 2-2-1 on the trip through the U.S. Division, claiming a 6-3 win against the Everett Silvertips, and an 11-3 rout over the Tri-City Americans.

Associate coach Joe Frazer says being on the road for 10 days gave the Tabbies the opportunity to grow closer as a team off the ice through different team events like their Thanksgiving dinner in Portland.

“Obviously, Canadian Thanksgiving was at the time down there so spent that together at a nice restaurant in Portland,” he says. “We had a few off days to where the guys could go to the mall and hang out. You know just being together for 10 days I think you can really feel the guys have connected.”

He adds the connection is not only seen off the ice but on it as well, and they look to build off it during their five games coming up at home.

The Tigers open that home stand Friday night against the undefeated Red Deer Rebels at 7 p.m.

If not able to attend you can hear all the action on Wild 94.5 with voice of the Tigers Gino De Paoli.
