Chamber Awards roar into a new era

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat & District Chamber of Commerce looked to the past for inspiration on Friday as it prepares for the future of the local business community.

The chamber chose A New Era of Roaring Success as the theme for the 2022 Business Awards, the traditional kick-off to Small Business Week. The theme was a throwback to the Roaring ’20s of a century ago. The chamber says the 2020s are the beginning of a united force in supporting and strengthening our local economic prosperity.

There were a total of 115 nominations this year in 14 categories. Chamber president Scott Lehr said in a release the nominees are an example of all the extraordinary businesses in the community.

Big Marble Farms won the coveted Award of Excellence, as well as the Large Business of the Year Award.
