Grants available for continuing care home modernization

Operators of continuing care homes in Alberta could be eligible for a one-time grant to replace, upgrade or renovate aged existing facilities.

Alberta Health is accepting project proposals through the Continuing Care Capital Program’s modernization stream to bring continuing care spaces to modern standards.

The province says one-time grants are available to not-for-profit and for-profit organizations, housing management bodies and municipalities that meet the eligibility criteria.

Application forms, more details on eligibility criteria and related information is available on the the Continuing Care Capital Program page on the government’s website. The application deadline is Jan. 6, 2023.
