CALGARY – Farm Credit Canada has a new person leading its Alberta and B.C. operations.

The organization recently announced the appointment of Jeff Affleck as senior vice-president of operations for Western.

Affleck joined FCC in 2009, and since then has led diverse teams in three provinces. Before his current position, he was the senior director of the FCC Saskatoon District. Today, he leads the FCC Western team from the Calgary office.

The Western team of 235 FCC employees serve 5,800 customers in British Columbia and 21,500 customers in Alberta for a total loan portfolio of more than $10 billion.

“I’m excited to lead our experienced team in Alberta and British Columbia as we continue to support the agriculture and food industry,” says Affleck. “FCC is proud to partner with producers and ag-related businesses of all sizes, from all sectors, helping them to dream, grow and thrive. I look forward to meeting with customers and industry partners in the near future.”

FCC says Affleck has provided financial services to agriculture and food customers across the prairies and Western Canada, promoting customer experience, operational and sales excellence.
