Weapons seized during traffic stop in the city

Medicine Hat, AB–Medicine Hat Police discovered several weapons inside a vehicle during a traffic stop on Friday night.

Officers had conducted the stop on a known adult male who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

The weapons found inside were within access of the occupants.

The male was taken into custody and seized a rifle, cross bow, machete, knives, and a pellet pistol.

He was being held in custody on the follow matters:

A bail hearing will be held within the next 24 hours where the man’s detention or release will be determined.
