US Justice Department moves to unseal search warrant for Donald Trump’s residence

Medicine Hat, AB–The US Attorney General is asking a judge to unseal a search warrant that led to an FBI search of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

Merrick Garland says he personally approved the decision to search the residence adding it was a decision that was not taken lightly.

The FBI searched the residence on Monday. Agents were looking for classified documents that Trump may have improperly removed from the White House.
