VIDEO: Attendance, revenues up amid extreme heat during Stampede 2022

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede has just wrapped up its first full Stampede after cancelling the event in 2020, and hosting a scaled-down version in 2021.

The three-day event saw the return of the midway, food and drink vendors, rodeo and grandstand performances featuring Trace Atkins, MacKenzie Porter and The Beach Boys.

CHAT News caught up with Stampede general manager Ron Edwards for a quick recap of this year’s festivities, as well as an update on the proposed event centre project.
