MEDICINE HAT, AB – When the Stampede nightshows were announced in March much of the excitement was centred on tonight.
Medicine Hat’s own MacKenzie Porter takes the stage at 9 p.m. and is riding high from a string of hit songs that reached number one on Canadian country radio.
Before her soundcheck today MacKenzie spoke with CHAT News about her nerves heading into the hometown show, her big Canadian Country Music Association news this week and her childhood Stampede memories.
