Parkside Manor evacuated due to fire

MEDICINE HAT — All 3 stations responded to a fire alarm at Parkside Manor, in the 900 block of Second Street S.E. Medicine Hat late last night.

A small stove was burning but all residents of the 4 storey building were evacuated as a precaution just before 10 p.m.

The fire was quickly extinguished, the building was ventilated and everyone was allowed back in.

Damage estimate is around 2 thousand dollars.
