Crestwood Rec Centre to reopen after maintenance

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Crestwood Recreation Centre will be reopening on Aug. 2 at 5:45 a.m. following routine scheduled maintenance.

“We’re excited to be able to have our members and the community back at the Crestwood Rec Centre,” said Scott Richter, acting director of the Parks and Recreation Department. “Over the last month, crews have been able to repair and replace some of the tiles in and around the pool, as well as make additional repairs which were required since reopening the facility earlier this year.”

The reopening of the facility will include pool access, as well as access to the fitness area and racquetball court.

Annual Kinsmen Aquatic Park shutdown

The annual shutdown of the Kinsmen Aquatic Park at Big Marble Go Centre is scheduled to begin Friday, Aug. 19 until Monday, Sept. 5. Active memberships at Big Marble Go Centre will be honoured at Crestwood Rec Centre, as well as the YMCA during this time.
