MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Saamis Tepee site will be closed July 27-28 as the city conducts its annual inspection and completes preventative maintenance.
The temporary closure of the site includes the area directly below and around the tepee, says the City of Medicine Hat in a release. The parking lot at the site and trails will remain open to visitors.
The work is to begin at 7 a.m. on Wednesday and be complete by 5 p.m. on Thursday, weather permitting.
The Visitor Information Centre, including the picnic, playground area and the sanitary dumping station will stay open during the teepee closure.
