Canada Day schedule at Medicine Hat Stampede

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The schedule for Canada Day festivities in Medicine Hat has been released.

The city’s largest Canada Day celebration takes place at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede grounds. The day starts at noon with the opening ceremonies at Pioneer Village, followed by a hot dog lunch and the cake decorating challenge.

Throughout the day there will be community booths on site and displays from groups like the Medicine Hat Police Service and the local stock car association. There will also be entertainment on the free stage and infield musical performances.

The fireworks will take place at 11 p.m.
