Tigers to open preseason on Sept. 9

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers first preseason action of the 2022-23 season will renew their Highway 3 rivalry.

The Tigers will play the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the Enmax Centre on Sept. 9 before coming home to host the ‘Canes on Sept. 10 at Co-op Place.

The following weekend the Tabbies will be on the road to play the Swift Current Broncos on Sept. 16 and host the Broncos at Co-op Place the next night.

The Western Hockey League released its full preseason schedule on Thursday. There are a total of 47 games on the schedule from Sept. 6-18.

The regular season is scheduled to begin on Sept. 23. Teams will begin announcing their home-opening dates for the season on June 20.
