Road work ahead; summer construction season starts today

MEDICINE HAT — Today marks the start of summer road construction season.

The city’s annual resurfacing program begins with projects in several parts of the city.

That includes Parkview Drive N.E. from Altawana Drive to 12th Street N.E.

A small section of Altawana Drive between Maple Avenue bridge and Parkview Drive is also on the list this week.

Crews will also be working on Strachan Road from 13th Avenue to Strachan Bay S.E. and on a section of Sage Road from Southridge Drive to Stratton Way S.E.

Motorists can expect delays in those construction areas.
