A wind warning has been issued for southern Alberta right from B.C. to Saskatchewan.

Environment Canada says strong winds gusting near 90 km/h are occurring on Tuesday afternoon and visibility is also being reduced due to blowing dust. Winds are expected to taper off overnight tonight.

The weather agency advises damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
