RCMP investigating homicide in Stettler

STETTLER, AB– RCMP in Stettler have arrested and charged a 22-year-old man with manslaughter after the body of a 33-year-old man was found inside a residence on 50A Avenue.

Byron Ervin Dinsmore has been charged with manslaughter with a firearm, and indignity to a body, according to RCMP. Dimsmore remains in custody . His next court appearance is April 21, 2022 in Red Deer Provincial Court.

Police say they are not looking for any additional suspects. They also note that because the matter is before the courts, no further information will be given at this time.
