Emergency response training taking place at Methanex

UPDATE: The training exercise has been cancelled due to today’s weather-related power outages in the city.

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Emergency response training will take place at the Methanex plant site on April 5.

The company says its own Emergency Response Team (ERT)and Medicine Hat Fire and Emergency Services will take part.

In a release, Methanex states it regularly undertakes exercises to test and enhance its emergency response plan and strengthen its working relationship with local emergency response personnel.
